Primary duties & responsibilities:
Establishment of viral infection model in iPSC based Lung-on-chip
iPSC cell culture and differentiation
development of tailored microbial assays
testing of antiviral drugs and correlates of protection
establishment of gut-liver models in a organ-on-chip platform
Required Skills & Qualifications:
PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology or similar studies
experience with viral infection models
experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, PCR and microscopy, incl. immune fluorescence staining
experience with iPSC or OoC culture is a plus
fluency in written and spoken English essential
fluency in German is a plus
experience working in a BSL-2 environment is a plus
